Usage Statistics: Overview

Usage Statistics provides insight into how individuals at an institution use TES®. A TES Administrator can review these to glean valuable insight into what features staff and faculty use and how. In addition, the TES Administrator can view infographics to see the distribution of equivalencies by state and institution. This article provides an overview of the Usage Statistics reports and links to further documentation.

To access Usage Statistics

  1. Go to the Manage menu.
  2. Select Usage Statistics.

Reports

Two reports are available: 

  1. TES General Use provides data showing what features of TES are being accessed by users.
  2. Evaluation Tracker Use provides data showing evaluation activity within the Evaluation Tracker workflow.

To generate a report:

  1. Toggle the radio button to select a Report Type.
  2. Adjust the report filters.
  3. Select View Stats.

The TES General Use Report Type has been selected. A from Date of July 1 2024 and a To Date of July 29 2024 have been selected. The Who field defaults to everyone. Text reads Statistics returned are limited to the last ten years and cannot include the current date.

From Date:

The first date the data is collected from; defaults to the first day of the current month.

(use the calendar button to select or the keyboard to enter; format MM/DD/YYYY)

To Date:

The last day the data is collected from; defaults to yesterday's date.

The current date and future dates cannot be selected.

(use the calendar button to select or the keyboard to enter; format MM/DD/YYYY)

Who:

The TES user on which activity/usage will be reported.

(select from the drop-down or search across all users [EVERYONE])

Infographics

Infographics provide a visual snapshot of the distribution of TES equivalencies.

Two infographics are available: 

  1. Equivalency Count by State depicts the number of equivalencies established in each state.
  2. Equivalency Count by Institution depicts the number of equivalencies established at each institution.

To generate an infographic: 

  1. Toggle the radio button to select an infographic name.
  2. Select View Infographic.

Equivalency Count by State and Equivalency Count by Institution are depicted as selections.
