Exporting Equivalencies Using the Equivalency Search

Building upon Finding Equivalencies through the Equivalency Search, this article overviews the steps needed to export equivalencies through Equivalency Search.

Once equivalencies have been selected, they can be exported to Word or Excel. Exporting this data allows one to review further what equivalencies may need to be updated due to curriculum changes. It also provides a means to share information with stakeholders. No matter the reason, Equivalency Search can be used to generate a quick list of equivalencies based on prescribed parameters that can be exported out of TES.

Selecting Equivalencies

First, locate the equivalencies that will need exporting, as detailed in the previous article.

  • Note that a maximum of 2,000 equivalencies can be exported at once. If one's search results produce more results, they will need to be refined to allow for batch editing.

In the below example, CollegeSource University is looking to find all active equivalencies to COMM103. This search was done in May of 2022, as noted in the explanation of the search criteria.

Choosing Export Option

If exporting to Word, select Word.  If exporting to Excel, select Excel.
