Health Check Reports

One of the most time-consuming - and frankly most often overlooked - aspect of transfer equivalency evaluation is the maintenance of your current equivalencies. Best-practice is to set up a schedule to review your equivalencies periodically - whether you do that annually, bi- or tri-annually, or on-demand. You may also elect to have a more robust schedule for your prominent feeder institutions while reviewing other source institutions less frequently.

The Health Check Reports inside of the Equivalency Batch Editor in TES provides a tool that facilitates the review of your equivalencies from a target/home course perspective. The reports list equivalencies where there have been changes to the target/home courses. There are three of them. The three available reports are:

  • COURSE NOT FOUND IN YOUR MOST RECENT CATALOG – This report produces a list of all of your current equivalencies to home courses that do not appear in your latest catalog. You can then edit the equivalencies that have single targets.
  • COURSE TITLE CHANGE – This report produces a list of all of your current equivalencies to home courses that have had a change of title. You can then edit the equivalencies that have single targets.
  • COURSE UNITS CHANGE – This report produces a list of all of your current equivalencies to home courses that have had a change in units/credits. You can then edit the equivalencies that have single targets.
